A guide for grown-ups
PlayKidsQuiz is a collection of 20 daily learning games for children aged 5–12 — bite-size puzzles in geography, science, math, words, and more. Here's exactly how it works, what your child learns, and how we keep it safe.
🛡️ Safe & private by design
- No accounts, no sign-up. Your child just plays — there's nothing to register.
- No personal information collected. We don't ask for a name, age, email, or location.
- No tracking, ever. We don't build a profile of your child or follow them around the web.
- Family-safe ads only. If ads help keep the site free, they're non-personalized and family-safe — shown by topic, never based on tracking your child.
- No chat or messaging. There's no way for strangers to contact your child.
- Progress stays on the device. Streaks and stats are saved in your browser's local storage only — never uploaded to a server.
Built to align with children's-privacy rules such as COPPA and GDPR-K. If we ever add anything that processes data, it will be privacy-first and explained here first.
🎮 How the daily games work
- One fresh puzzle per game, per day — the same for everyone, like a daily ritual. Come back tomorrow for a new one.
- Reloading is safe. A puzzle in progress is remembered, so closing the tab won't lose it.
- Play again to practise. After the daily one, a “New game” button gives unlimited practice rounds (these don't affect the streak).
- Gentle by default. The youngest games can't really be “lost” — wrong taps just give another hint, and there's lots of encouragement.
- Levels where it helps. Spelling, number and equation games have Sprout / Explorer / Champion tiers so they grow with your child.
📚 What your child learns
The feedback itself teaches: “warmer / colder” builds intuition, attribute clues encourage reasoning, and every reveal ends with a fun fact.
♿ Made to be playable by everyone
- Never colour alone. Clues always pair colour with an icon, arrow, or label — so colour-blind players never miss a hint.
- Read-aloud. Many games can speak the word, clue, or instructions for early readers.
- Keyboard friendly and built to respect a “reduced motion” setting for children who prefer calmer visuals.
⏱️ Healthy screen time
Each game is designed to be quick and “done” — a few minutes of focused thinking, not an endless feed. There's no autoplay, no streak-shaming, and nothing nudging your child to keep scrolling. A calm daily habit, by design.
